How often are we supposed to replace the mesh?
Highly rated entities have evaluated the ageing process of our nets considering as regards exposure to sun, humidity, water, extreme cold or hot weather. A durability of 2 to 4 years was estimated for transparent nets, whereas white nets are supposed to last between 4 and 6 years.
Our nets do not filter smog or other corrosives.

Should the net not be given maximum tension and thus remain somewhat flexible?
The nest should be tight enough but not rigid –it should allow for a certain amount of elongation to make it more resistant.

Can the net be used to protect swimming pools?
This use is certainly not recommended. Should our product be used in swimming pool areas it could be exposed to chlorine, animal bites, lawn mowers, etc, which may partially or totally damage it.

Can the net be installed in a roofless balcony?
It can. If your balcony is not under cover, we will set up an iron or aluminum structure approximately 1.70 to 2 meters high (statutory minimum height) to hold the net in place.

How resistant is the net?
All of our nets and profiles have been subject to INTI strength tests, resulting in a radial resistance of 140/m2 (transparent net) and 200/mt2 (white net).
This is the evaluated resistance of the net as a whole (climbing it is absolutely not recommended).
Each diamond resists 17kg (transparent net) and 49 kg (white net).

Can the net be installed horizontally?
No. Our tests have only been performed in vertically installed nets.

Is it possible to climb onto the net?
Our net has not been designed for such a purpose, so climbing or hanging from it is not advisable.

Can the net be easily cut or burnt?
All nylon nets are at risk of being cut or burnt should someone apply a cutting element, a cigarette and/or direct fire upon them.

Should the net be replaced after two to four years?
Ageing tests have given the nets a life expectancy of two to four years always considering the worst case scenario so that after that time the net condition should be verified from time to time. You will certainly notice if the net has started to show deterioration signs.

Are replacements very expensive?
Replacements are simple, and certainly not expensive.
If the net has been assembled by means of aluminum profiles, reinstallation is neither noisy nor dirty, and its cost is relatively low.
In the case of polyamide profiles, reinstallation is simple, and it can be carried out by the user himself/herself.

Are materials custom made?
You can require installation without the need of a previous visit. This will only be necessary in case of windows or balconies with special characteristics.
In the case of standard openings you can send your measures by e-mail or by telephone to require installation.

Are transparent nets sharp?
Some companies have claimed that transparent nets are sharp, thus exposing children to cuts. We guarantee our products do not have such characteristics.

Are nets easily disassembled (e.g. to fix an air conditioner)?
If the net has been assembled by means of aluminum profiles, it can be easily disassembled by removing the wires that hold it onto the profiles. Reinstallation should always be carried out by a qualified operator.
In case of polyamide profiles the user should pay attention not to cut the net while removing it. It can be reinstalled by the user himself/herself.

Can nets be fixed to any type of surfaces?
Surfaces must be in good condition and there should be no humidity or cracks that might damage our product.
Some surfaces are more fragile than others. (E.g. durlock / hollow bricks require special anchors and screws).
Surfaces have to be strong enough to offer the right resistance.
